DMCA Policy
Last updated: September 2026
BonchonMenuPrice.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This page explains how to notify us of alleged copyright infringement, how we respond, and how we protect our own original work.
To file a copyright complaint, email our designated agent at contact@bonchonmenuprice.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice". Include everything listed in Section 2 below. We respond to valid notices within 3 business days.
1. Our Commitment
We publish menu prices, calorie and nutrition information, original analysis, original photography and original data visualisations. We take reasonable steps to ensure that everything published here is either our own work, used with permission, or used in a manner consistent with applicable law.
If we have made a mistake, we want to correct it. On receiving a valid DMCA notice we will remove or disable access to the material promptly, without requiring legal action first.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing all six of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work. Describe the work you believe has been infringed. Where possible, include the title, the author, and a URL where the original is legally published.
- Identification of the infringing material. Provide the exact URL or URLs on bonchonmenuprice.com where the material appears, and describe where on the page it sits.
- Your contact information. Full name, organisation if applicable, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- Statement of good faith. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Signature. A physical or electronic signature. Typing your full name at the end of an email is acceptable for electronic submissions.
A notice missing any of these elements may not be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), and we may ask you to resubmit before acting.
3. What Happens Next
| Step | Timeline | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Acknowledgement | Within 3 business days | We confirm receipt of your notice by email |
| Review | Within 5 business days | We check that the notice contains all required elements |
| Action | Promptly on validation | We remove or disable access to the material |
| Notification | Same day as removal | We notify the contributor, where one exists |
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the same address. It must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located — or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which this site may be found — and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On receipt of a valid counter-notification we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless they notify us that they have filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore the removed material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification.
5. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access of contributors who are repeat infringers.
6. Our Own Content
The following material on bonchonmenuprice.com is our original work and is protected by copyright:
- Written analysis, commentary, comparisons and editorial judgements
- Original photography produced for or licensed to this site
- Data visualisations, charts and comparison tables we have compiled
- Calculations derived from published data, including cost-per-piece, cost-per-calorie and value comparisons
- Page structure, headings and organisation
Underlying factual data — prices, calorie counts, sodium and protein figures, ingredient lists — is not itself copyrightable. Our compilation, arrangement, analysis and presentation of that data is.
If you wish to reference our work, a short quotation with a link back to the source page is welcome. Wholesale reproduction of our articles, tables or images is not permitted. To request permission for broader use, contact us at the address below.
If you believe your site's content has been copied here, or that we have copied yours, please tell us rather than assuming. Most such issues arise from both parties independently citing the same public source — in our case, Bonchon's official nutrition guide — rather than from copying.
7. Trademarks
Bonchon® is a registered trademark of Bonchon Franchise, LLC. BonchonMenuPrice.com is an independent informational website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Bonchon Franchise, LLC or any of its subsidiaries or franchisees.
All trademarks, service marks, trade names and brand names referenced on this site remain the property of their respective owners. They are used here for identification and descriptive purposes only, in a manner consistent with nominative fair use.
Prices, nutrition information and menu details published here are compiled from publicly available sources, including Bonchon's official Nutritional Information guide and location ordering systems, and are presented alongside our own independent analysis.
